Experienced Leader Committed To Implementing Voter ID
In the intricate framework of local governance, the City Clerk stands as a cornerstone, accurately weaving together administrative harmony, transparency, compliance, and efficient operations. Their adaptability, meticulous attention to detail, and adept communication skills form the foundation of success in this multifaceted role.
As an accomplished business professional with a track record of driving operational excellence, I am passionate about stepping into the role of City Clerk. Drawing from my years of corporate experience within a global organization, I recognize the transferable skills that seamlessly align with the City Clerk responsibilities. Over the course of my career, my experience has sharpened my organizational skills, ensuring that every detail aligns seamlessly. My role as a liaison between cross-functional teams echoes the City Clerk’s pivotal function.
Additionally, I am a Commissioner for the Community and Library Services acting in a direct advisory capacity to the City Council in matters pertaining to the development, acquisition, maintenance, and reconstruction of our 78 parks, 5 libraries, 1 golf course, and beach facilities. The commission works with other governmental agencies, the citizens of Huntington Beach, and civic groups in the advancement of our parks and library services. Commissioners study, report, and interpret the needs of the public to the City Council, including conducting public meetings to garner community input on projects and facilities. As Commissioners, we review the annual Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) budget, reconstruction, and refurbishment plans and advise the City Council on the current needs and long-range plans.

The right to vote in a free and fair election is the most basic civil right and one on which many other rights of the American people depend. And I am here to carry out the will of the people. To implement a citizen’s right to have their ballot securely cast and counted.
In March, the voters of Huntington Beach overwhelmingly passed Measure A: Implementing Voter ID, more neighborhood polling places that are handicap accessible, and secure drop boxes up through Election Day.
Enshrining these simple steps into our City Charter would forever protect Huntington Beach’s elections. There are no excuses for failing to protect our votes.
Voters in Huntington Beach deserve to know, without question, that their elections are secure. And that is what Measure A is about.
Join me in my fight to implement Measure A.
It has always been my aspiration to serve my community at a higher level. The City Clerk’s office presents an extraordinary opportunity—an arena where my education, business acumen, global business exposure, and finely honed professional skills converge. My unique blend of skills can make a lasting impact.
